Our small but effective team provides municipal services to existing and prospective residents and businesses. We strive to achieve excellence in our customer service and pride ourselves on our responsiveness to the community's needs.

Town Manager / CAO
Vicki Zinyk
Vicki has 25 plus years business experience in both the public and private sectors. Vicki recently managed the Utilities (water, wastewater and natural gas) and regional water commission initiatives on behalf of the County of Thorhild. During her tenure with the County of Thorhild, Vicki oversaw County owned Utility infrastructure; maintained operations, conducted and implemented competitive rate designs and service offering programs, in addition to the facilitation of the development of the regional water transmission line extension.
Vicki was appointed Town Manager for the Town of Bon Accord effective January 1st, 2009. As Town Manager, she is responsible for the towns financial and risk management, business operations, facilitation of policy and bylaw application, and provides direction to the organization's team.
Vicki resides very close to Bon Accord, on an acreage, with her husband Steve. She has two grown children and two granddaughters.
Administration / Utility Clerk
Karen Weiss
Karen Weiss has been with the Town of Bon Accord since 1991, and is currently our Administration and Utility Clerk. When you contact the Town Office, either in person or by phone, Karen will probably be your first contact. Due to her long tenure with the Town, Karen has the ability to handle a multitude of customer requests and / or concerns (utilities, taxes, cemetery, complaints, etc.). Please feel free to drop by or give Karen a call and she will assist you.
Economic Development Coordinator
Gale Schwenneker
Gale Schwenneker has been with the Town of Bon Accord since 2002, and is currently our Economic Development Coordinator. As Economic Development Coordinator Gale is tasked with the delivery of economic development and tourism services, related to strengthening our community. This task is accomplished through innovative business attraction and retention; as well as commercial and residential strategies. Communications / Emergency Management Coordinator
Julia Miller
Julia has worked for the Town of Bon Accord, on a part-time basis, since May 2006. Her primary responsibility is keeping the public up to date on what is happening in Bon Accord. This is done through our website and monthly advertisements in the Free Press. Julia also coordinates the training and responsibilities of Town Staff for Emergency Preparedness.
Family & Community Support Services Director - this position is currently vacant.
